Axiflow

Axiflow The Axiflow is used to preclean all kind of natural fibres , such as wool, hemp, flax, kenaf, sisal, jute, cocos i.e. in a continuous way.

The machine basically consists of:
  • Cleaning rollers

  • Lamella devices, adjustable

  • Cellular wheel sluice or Dirt collection box

The axiflow should be fed directly from an opening machine, in order to achieve an optimum cleaning effect to the rax fibre material.

Simplified can be said for all cleaning machines: The degree of cleaning is proportional to the fibre opening.

Function:

The axiflow is a cleaning machine that works with underpressure. Raw fibre material is sucked into the machine by the lower suction tube and will be directly conveyed between the two outwards running cleaning rollers.

Due to the arrangement of the pinned cleaning rollers, fibre material is braught into a spiral movement in longitudinal machinery axis resulting in a speed reduction of the material.

The circumference speed of the cleaning rollers itself is multiple of the fibre speed. Impurities, shives, burrs i.e. are centrifuged towards the lamella devices and separated from the fibre material.

The impurities drop through the lamella devices and can be removed by a cellular wheel sluice.

The lamella devices are adjustable by hand- wheel to adapt them to all product specific requirements.

The precleaned fibre material is been taken over at the exit of the machine by fan and can be pneumatically transported to the next cleaning step.

For production and cleaning of fibres , especially in the field of " growing fibre resources" , the use of the axiflow in combination with a fineopener is recommendable as an economical solution compared to traditional systems .
